Confederate-C.S.S. "Florida)" Autograph Manuscript Unsigned, "The Case of the Florida, illustrated by Precedents of British History. Supplement" , 1p, nd, 4to, complete in itself. Regards the case of the Confederate ship "Florida" and correspondence between Secretary of State, Seward and Charge d'Affaires of Brazil. The ship ran the blockage and raided Northern shipping until captured by the Federal ship "Wachusett" and sunk. The "Florida" captured or destroyed 37 vessels. An important manuscript. VG.
