Typed Letter signed, “Bob” to The Honorable Luther H. Hodges of North Carolina. In part: “Dear Luther: Many thanks for bringing Mr. Bentley’s letter to my attention…” On United States Senate letterhead; dated September 6, 1966. Although the typed signature is “Robert F. Kennedy” senator Kennedy crossed off the Robert to hand write in “Bob” in show of informality towards Hodges. Fine.
