Henry Dearborn (1751-1829), was a Revolutionary War General, Congressman and public official. Dearborn was involved in the Battle of Bunker Hill, and saw action at Ticonderoga and Saratoga. He distinguished himself at the Battle of Monmouth, and was on General Washington's staff at Yorktown. Dearborn, Michigan, is named in his honor.
